Traditional Hot Yoga

Traditional Hot (Bikram) Yoga is a set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises.  This practice is beloved around the world because it's challenging nature has the potential the transform the practitioner, inside and out.

To develop a home practice, it to cultivate your internal world.  It is not about rolling out your mat at home, but rather honing a home within your body.  A place to come to where you feel at peace and loved.

This is Sara’s favourite practice.  Katonah Yoga features rich metaphor to engage the imagination and particular form to inform physical function.  The practice combines asana + breath-work + meditation and aims to inspire joy and personal insight (both on and off the mat)

Sara’s brings a lighthearted approach to the series.  Given the challenge it bestows on the practitioner it is important to take it all with a grain of salt and just simply do your best.  By stripping away the rigidity of the practice, practitioners have an opportunity to enjoy their time on the mat (not just how they feel after class).

Roll & Restore

Saturday @ 2pm - Breathe Hot Yoga (McKenzie Towne)

Sara’s Roll & Restore class combines the practice of yin yoga with therapeutic rolling.  This class is like a self-massage and the perfect way to spend an Saturday afternoon.  Students leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.
